RESORT FEE AT M-HOTEL
In accordance with the Law of St. Petersburg of June 28, 2023, No. 419-81 "On Introduction of Resort Fee in the Territory of St. Petersburg", a resort fee is levied in the territory of St. Petersburg from April 1, 2024.
Persons over 18 years of age who plan to stay in accommodation facilities for more than 24 hours are obliged to pay the resort fee upon check-in in the amount of 100 rubles per day per person.
21 privileged categories of citizens are exempt from paying the resort fee, including veterans, disabled people of 1-2 groups, students of St. Petersburg universities, members of large families and others.

- persons who have been awarded the titles of Hero of the Soviet Union, Hero of the Russian Federation or are full cavaliers of the Order of Glory;
- persons awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor or Hero of Labor of the Russian Federation or awarded the Order of Labor Glory of three degrees;
- participants of the Great Patriotic War;
- veterans of combat operations from among the persons listed in subparagraphs 1-4 of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of Federal Law No. 5-FZ "On Veterans" dated January 12, 1995;
- persons awarded the "Resident of the Siege of Leningrad" sign, persons awarded the "Resident of besieged Sevastopol" sign;
- persons who worked during the Great Patriotic War at air defense facilities, local air defense, construction of defensive structures, naval bases, airfields and other military facilities within the rear boundaries of the active fronts, operational zones of the active fleets, on frontline sections of railroads and highways, as well as crew members of transport fleet vessels interned at the beginning of the Great Patriotic War in ports of other countries;
- disabled persons of groups I and II;
- persons accompanying disabled persons of group I and disabled children in accordance with Federal Act No. 178-FZ of July 17, 1999 "On State Social Assistance";
- low-income families, low-income single citizens and other categories of citizens stipulated by Federal Law No. 178-FZ "On State Social Assistance" dated July 17, 1999, who have an average per capita income below the subsistence minimum established at their place of residence in the relevant constituent entity of the Russian Federation;
- persons who have arrived in St. Petersburg to receive specialized, including high-tech, medical care or medical rehabilitation after specialized, including high-tech, medical care in sanatorium-resort organizations, as well as their accompanying person if the patient is a child under 18 years of age;
- tuberculosis patients;
- persons under the age of 24 who are full-time students in educational organizations located in St. Petersburg;
- persons permanently working on the territory of the experiment on the basis of an employment contract or service contract;
- persons with a place of residence in the territory of St. Petersburg
- disabled war veterans;
- persons who own residential buildings (shares in the right of ownership thereof) and (or) residential premises (shares in the right of ownership thereof) in the territory of St. Petersburg;
- athletes, coaches, sports referees, as well as other specialists in the field of physical culture and sports who have arrived in St. Petersburg to participate in official sports events;

- persons exposed to radiation as a result of the Chernobyl disaster and as a result of nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk test site, and persons equated to them.
Exemption from paying the resort fee is carried out upon presentation to the operator of the resort fee to the hotel M-Hotel of the original document confirming the right to exemption from paying the resort fee, or a duly certified copy thereof. Exemption from paying the resort fee can also be carried out on the basis of a written application of the accompanied person or his/her legal representative with the attachment of the relevant documents.
7) Can I refuse to pay the resort fee? Will the accommodation be refused in this case?
ВIn case of refusal to pay the resort fee, the operator of the resort fee - M-Hotel - offers the guest to fill out a statement/notification in the prescribed form on the refusal to pay the resort fee, on the basis of which the procedure of administrative sanctions will be initiated.
However, refusal to pay the resort fee is not a reason for refusal to check-in the guest.
8) What exactly will the funds raised be used for?
The objects of resort infrastructure in the sense of paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Article 3 of 214-FZ include objects of therapeutic, recreational, socio-cultural, physical culture, sports and recreational purposes, including parks, squares, urban forests, boulevards, terrenekurs, beaches, embankments, pedestrian zones, landscaping elements, as well as other objects that can meet the spiritual and other needs of tourists, contribute to the maintenance of their livelihood, restoration and development of their physical strength, located on the territory of the experiment, with the exception of the following objects.
